How long does it usually take for red acne marks to disappear?

Pimple marks can generally fade in 1-2 months, but the specific fading time needs to be judged in relation to the patient’s condition, skin quality, age, and skin metabolism level. The production of red acne marks is the body’s response to repair tissue damage. Acne is an inflammatory response of local hair follicles caused by hyperkeratosis, obstruction of the follicle opening and the multiplication of Acinetobacter propionicus. Once the patient squeezes the pimple, the contents of the white head or blackhead pimple are squeezed out of the body, which causes deep tissue damage, resulting in epidermal skin defects and inflammatory irritation response, leading to redness of the skin, which is repaired by the body through collagen fiber proliferation to fill the tissue defects, resulting in skin pimple marks. Usually, red facial acne marks can fade in 1-2 months. If they do not fade, they can be combined with chemical peeling and phototherapy to achieve the effect of removing acne marks and aesthetics. In the process of acne marks fading, patients must strengthen skin care, do a good job of moisturizing, hydrating and repairing the skin barrier function and strict sun protection. Also eat lightly to avoid the persistence of acne.
