Chinese medicine treatment of white drip

The white drip is the first symptom that appears with chronic prostatitis. The inflammation of the prostate gland increases the secretion of prostatic fluid, much of which overflows on its own. Often when you get up in the morning, you find thin watery secretions dripping out of the urethra, or you can have a thicker milky white mucus. The most obvious is the discharge of white matter at the urethra after urination or when defecating, which is called white turbidity in Chinese medicine. According to Chinese medicine, the cause is mainly due to excessive sexual intercourse, strain on the essence, resulting in deficiency of kidney qi; or due to alcoholism, diet and tiredness, which injures the spleen, causing the spleen and stomach to malfunction in transportation, resulting in the internal growth of dampness and turbidity; or due to the feeling of external evil, which can block the meridians, resulting in this disease. Chinese medicine is mainly divided into the following types of evidence-based treatment: 1. Liver and gallbladder damp-heat type: hot, red and turbid urine, damp and itchy yin; bitter and full chest, bitter mouth. The tongue is red, the coating is yellow and greasy, and the pulse is stringy. Treatment is to clear heat and dampness, dredge the liver and gallbladder, with the formula of Gentian and Liver Diarrhea Tang plus reduction: Gentian 15 grams, Chai Hu 15 grams, Scutellaria 15 grams, Mountain Gardenia 15 grams, Che Qian Zi 10 grams, Ze Di 10 grams, Sheng Di 10 grams, Sheng Gan Cao 10 grams. 2. Damp-heat type of spleen and stomach: turbid urine, irritable and thirsty, or sweet and sticky mouth. The tongue is red, the coating is yellow and greasy, and the pulse is slippery. The treatment is to clear heat and dampness, and to clear the turbidity. The formula is based on Cheng’s Dioscorea Z Fenqing Drink plus reduction: Dioscorea Z 30g, Atractylodes Macrocephala 6g, Phellodendron Bark 9g, Acorus calamus 9g, Lotus Heart 8g, Salviae Miltiorrhizae 30g, Hyssop 9g, Plantago ovatae 15g (packet), Poria 30g. 3. Heart fire moving down type: red urine, restlessness, sleepiness and night sweating, forgetfulness and seminal emission. Sore mouth and tongue, red tongue, fine pulse. Treatment is to nourish the heart and clear heat. The formula uses clear heart lotus seed drink: lotus seed 12 grams, ground bark 12 grams, scutellaria baicalensis 9 grams, poria 15 grams, Radix Codonopsis pilosulae 15 grams, astragalus membranaceus 15 grams, psyllium 10 grams, maitong 10 grams, raw licorice 10 grams. 4. Spleen deficiency and Qi trapping type: cloudy urine, aggravated by exertion, fatigue, abdominal cramps, poor urination. The tongue is light red, the fur is white, and the pulse is weak. The treatment is to strengthen the spleen and benefit the qi, promote clearing and consolidate astringency. This formula is based on the following formula: Astragalus membranaceus 15g, Radix Codonopsis pilosulae 15g, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae 10g, Radix Glycyrrhiza Uralensis 10g, Radix Angelicae Sinensis 6g, Radix Achyranthes Bidentatae 6g, Radix Bupleurum Chinense 12g, 9 pieces of ginger, 6 jujubes. 5. Kidney Qi deficiency type: white mucus dripping out after urination, soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, Yin deficiency, heat in the heart of the hands and feet, night sweating, burning and hidden pain in the urethra, fine pulse, red tongue with thin coating, formula with the Great Tonic Yin Pill plus or minus; Yang deficiency, cold limbs and loose stools, frequent urination, incomplete urination, sunken pulse, light tongue with white coating. The formula is Ji Sheng Kidney Qi Pill with addition and subtraction.
