Are hemorrhoids and acne the same?

Hemorrhoids and acne are not the same, first of all, in concept. Hemorrhoids are soft venous masses formed by the tortuous and dilated venous plexus under the skin of the lower mucous membrane of the human rectum and anal canal, while acne is a more common disease in cosmetic dermatology, also called acne and acne folliculitis. Secondly, the location of growth is different. Hemorrhoids grow on the anus, while acne grows on the face. Third, the causes of hemorrhoids and acne are also different. Hemorrhoids are mainly caused by constipation and poor bowel habits, while acne is mainly caused by the secretion of sebaceous glands. Patients with hemorrhoids and acne should pay attention to a light diet and abstain from eating spicy, greasy and irritating foods.
