Purpose of interventional treatment after liver cancer surgery

The purpose of interventional therapy after hepatocellular carcinoma surgery is the evaluation of the long-term efficacy and the recent efficacy of tumor treatment. There is tumor residue or recurrence of malignant tumor after surgical treatment, interventional treatment is equal to superimposed treatment, and synergistic treatment is given to achieve better results. At present, there are some imaging examinations that cannot be detected because of small lesions, and the diagnosis of hepatic arteriography can be performed under DSA during the interventional treatment. Hepatic arteriography is a more accurate diagnostic method for hepatocellular carcinoma other than biopsy. Therefore, after hepatocellular carcinoma surgery, hepatic arteriography can detect residual carcinoma or recurrent lesions at an early stage and provide timely interventional treatment.
