How to treat macular edema after cataract surgery

The conventional procedure used for cataract is ultrasound emulsification with IOL implantation. Due to the presence of ultrasound in ultrasound emulsification, it will cause macular edema in a small number of people after cataract surgery, and macular edema has to rely on macular OCT to determine. For the relatively mild edema, we can use Myzhelin orally and pranoprofen to dot the eyes and observe whether it can be absorbed. If it is not absorbed for a long time, if the edema is not seen to be significantly reduced and has a tendency to worsen after 3 months of observation and follow-up, we need to take more aggressive treatment. If it is not absorbed for a long time, if the edema is not significantly reduced and the tendency of aggravation is still observed for 3 months, more active treatment is needed.
