How to get rid of swollen inguinal lymph nodes

Swollen lymph nodes in the inguinal region are most commonly the result of inflammation or infection and can be treated with intravenous anti-infection therapy to allow the lymph nodes to gradually decrease or subside. The most common is lymphangitis or soft tissue infection of the lower extremities, cellulitis, which can be treated with broad-spectrum cephalosporin combined with metronidazole intravenously; the limb should also be elevated, and hot compresses can be applied to the inguinal region to gradually improve the patient’s symptoms. There are also some patients with malignant lymph node enlargement in the inguinal region that require local surgical excision to clarify the pathological staging; local radiation therapy and systemic intravenous chemotherapy can be chosen to achieve the treatment. In some patients, the enlarged lymph nodes may be secondary to local muscle or soft tissue contusions caused by trauma, and the enlarged lymph nodes may be reduced by applying heat.
