After a conical hysterectomy, the patient’s bleeding usually stops in about 1-2 weeks. Cervical conization is a common treatment for cervical disease. Patients will experience a small amount of vaginal bleeding after the procedure, less than menstrual bleeding, and the bleeding usually lasts for about 1-2 weeks and rarely for more than 3 weeks. If the patient experiences prolonged bleeding or increased bleeding after the procedure, it may be due to infection of the cervical wound or the rupture of small locally exposed blood vessels after the wound has been debrided. Patients are advised to go to the hospital promptly for examination to clarify the cause of bleeding and take targeted measures to stop bleeding. In addition, patients should also pay attention to strengthen care after surgery, wash the vulva and change underwear every day to prevent retrograde infection of pathogenic microorganisms. Sexual intercourse, strenuous exercise and heavy physical labor are prohibited for at least 1 month after surgery.
