How should cervical tumor be treated?

Cervical tumor, generally divided into cervical benign tumor and cervical malignant tumor, while cervical benign tumor often refers to cervical myoma, or cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, while cervical malignant tumor, mainly refers to cervical cancer. If cervical tumor is found to be benign at this time, and it is considered to be cervical myoma, but the myoma is not large, and at the same time it does not affect the discharge of menstrual blood and can cause normal menstrual flow, then it does not need any treatment, but follow up and review the ultrasound to see the growth and change of the myoma. If a cervical biopsy is performed and intraepithelial neoplasia is found on the cervix, but intermediate or severe grade intraepithelial neoplasia has a high chance of developing into cervical cancer, then cervical conization treatment with Lipo knife or cold knife should be considered, and after conization surgery, pathological examination is needed to exclude cervical cancer and to ensure that the cut edge is clean. However, if the diagnosis of cervical cancer is confirmed, hospitalization should be considered directly to improve the preoperative examination, and then open surgery or laparoscopic surgery should be performed to choose the appropriate treatment plan according to the condition. Therefore, the treatment plan of cervical tumor must be selected according to the specific situation. As long as the tumor is benign, there is generally no need to worry too much about it, but to treat it symptomatically.
