It is increasingly understood that mental health is as important as physical health. People with good mental health have good interpersonal relationships and normative behavior externally, while internally they have basic needs met and normal psychological mechanisms. However, the definition of mental health may not be as objective as physical health. For this reason, physiologists have drawn up six criteria for mental health: 1. correct understanding of reality and an objective attitude toward problems. 2. 2, self-knowledge, self-esteem and self-acceptance, can realistically evaluate themselves. Do not overly show themselves nor deliberately to please others, accept their own strengths and weaknesses, a person who does not even like themselves, and how to talk about like others. 3, the ability to self-regulate, to regulate their own behavior, both to restrain their impulses, but also to mobilize their physical and mental strength, in practice to achieve their higher goals. 4.The ability to build intimate relationships with people. Caring for others, good at cooperation, not to meet their own needs and demanding, such people have close friends and intimate home. Unhealthy people, on the other hand, have strained interpersonal relationships and use others at every turn to achieve their own goals. 5. Stability and coordination of personality structure. This stability and coordination includes the adjustment of the ideal and reality gap, including the coordination of cognition and emotion. 6.Passion for life and work efficiency. Everyone will have distress, but psychologically healthy people can find happiness from life and work.
