Constipation is a symptom of difficult bowel movements caused by various reasons, usually referring to a decrease in the number of stools and/or dry and difficult to relieve stools, generally no bowel movements for more than two days, indicating the presence of constipation. The specific manifestations are: too little stool, too hard, too difficult to pass, or a combination of specific symptoms, such as prolonged straining to pass stool, rectal distension, a feeling of incomplete defecation, or even the need to use manipulation to help defecate. Constipation has a high prevalence in all age groups in the natural population. But mainly in middle-aged and elderly women, according to statistics, the incidence of constipation in the female population up to 15-28%, the most common to rectal protrusion, rectal protrusion refers to the front wall of the rectum into a bag-like protrusion to the front of more than 0.6cm during defecation, and cause defecation difficulties of a disease, also known as rectal protrusion, in gynecology for the posterior vaginal wall bulge. The main clinical manifestations are difficulty in defecation, incomplete defecation and anal drop, etc. Some patients may use hand pressure to assist defecation around the anus or in the vagina, or even put their fingers into the rectum to dig out the fecal mass. The disease is usually seen in older menstruating mothers, and the presence of rectal protrusion alone is rare, but it is often combined with intra-rectal mucosal overturning and perineal descent as shown by fecal imaging. TST surgery is a new procedure introduced from abroad in recent years for the treatment of outlet obstruction constipation, the main principle of which is to remove the rectal wall with anastomosis and correct the anatomical abnormality of rectal protrusion in order to treat outlet obstruction constipation. The TST procedure is a new method with significant clinical efficacy, safety and reliability for the treatment of anterior rectal protrusion. This procedure can simultaneously solve the internal rectal mucosal prolapse, internal hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids, thus eliminating the clinical symptoms caused by the above-mentioned diseases and assisting in improving the efficacy of the treatment.
