The child and adolescent psychiatric ward (pediatric ward) was established at the end of 2013. There are now 20 beds, and at the beginning of its establishment, we actively invited famous child and adolescent psychiatrists in China to come to lead the ward. The children’s open ward can provide patients with a more relaxed activity space and an environment and conditions close to real life, and patients will enjoy more freedom and respect, while their families should assume corresponding responsibilities and obligations. The pediatric ward is a special ward set up in our hospital to meet the needs of patients for multi-level and diversified services. The service targets of this ward are patients suffering from school phobia, childhood anxiety disorder, depression disorder and childhood mood disorder, childhood schizophrenia and other types of patients whose conditions are suitable for open wards and who have special requirements for wards and services.
