Bathing is usually done after 10 to 14 days after surgery.  Within one month after surgery, attention should be paid to avoid as much as possible the increase of intra-abdominal pressure, such as: jumping down from high places, continuous coughing, violent crying, chronic constipation, etc., but the general daily activities are not much affected.  How to review after pediatric hernia surgery?  Generally, the dressing will be changed around 5-7 days after surgery to see the wound; the dressing will be taken off around 10 days after surgery, and it is better to take a bath after 14 days after surgery. One month after surgery, another review at the hospital is sufficient (an ultrasound may be necessary).
