Educating children too anxious mother’s lungs were angry “exploded”

The phrase “blowing up the lungs” is usually used to describe a person who is extremely angry, but in real life, it does happen. A few days ago, 45-year-old Ms. Xu in the education of children, too emotional, resulting in the rupture of her right lung, and then rushed to the First People’s Hospital of Hangzhou to rescue. The company’s main business is to provide a wide range of products and services to the public.      A rush, the lungs were gas “fried” encounter angry things, some people are prone to emotional excitement, Ms. Xu is such a person. The problem of education for their children, Ms. Xu attaches great importance, but the child did not let her worry about growing up. A while ago, mother and son had a verbal argument, Ms. Xu was so angry that she slapped the table, stomped her feet, and chanted, “My lungs are about to explode from your anger.” The family sent her to the city’s first hospital for resuscitation. The doctor who attended immediately gave Ms. Xu oxygen and used cardiac monitoring. After finding that the oxygen saturation was only 80%, the doctor contacted her to take a bedside X-ray, which revealed that Ms. Xu’s right lung was broken, causing not only the right lung to be severely compressed, but also pushing the heart to the left, squeezing the normal left lung. In other words, Ms. Xu’s lungs were really gas “exploded”. The hospital’s deputy director of thoracic surgery Feng Xing said, Ms. Xu is tension pneumothorax, if not handled in time, it will be life-threatening. In addition, Ms. Xu originally had bronchitis and emphysema, and emotional excitement is one of the triggers. Subsequently, the doctor took a small hole in Ms. Xu’s right chest wall and then placed a 5mm diameter thick drainage tube, which immediately discharged the air in her chest cavity, and Ms. Xu was much more comfortable when the chest pressure was reduced and the heart was normally in place. After the symptoms were relieved, she underwent a minimally invasive surgery to completely remove the diseased blister on the lung, and she was able to move around normally the day after the surgery. Pneumothorax patients show a younger trend Pneumothorax is formed when air enters the pleural cavity due to the rupture of lung tissue and dirty pleura caused by lung and pleural diseases. When subjected to various external triggering factors, such as violent cough, repeated respiratory inflammatory infections, asthma attacks, sudden exertion during physical activities, constipation, sudden change of position, loud noise, yawning, etc., resulting in the rupture of diseased alveoli and the accumulation of gas in the pleural cavity. Feng Xing said, the pneumothorax is mainly divided into two categories, one is idiopathic pneumothorax, generally seen in the body shape of long and thin young boys, this group of people with a flatter chest, poor lung tip development, easy to cause alveolar lesions, its clinical manifestations are mostly sudden chest pain, chest tightness, cough, breathing difficulties. Another category is secondary pneumothorax, such as Ms. Xu. Patients themselves have underlying diseases such as bronchitis, emphysema and asthma, which attack after suffering external stimuli. According to Feng Xing statistics, the number of pneumothorax patients has been increasing in recent years, and there is a trend of younger patients. The total number of surgical patients has increased by about 5% to 8%, of which, young people account for about 60%. The reasons for this are mainly related to air pollution and smoking. Currently, there are two types of treatments for pneumothorax. First, conservative treatment. By giving oxygen and placing drains in the chest cavity to vent the air, the symptoms can be temporarily relieved and cured for a short period of time, but 50% to 75% of the patients relapse soon. Second, surgical removal of the suprapulmonary lesions with the help of pulmonary alveoli. Nowadays, only one to two small 10mm holes in the patient’s chest wall are needed to remove the suprapulmonary lesion pneumomediastinum. ”If a young person has a pneumothorax, if the lung compression does not exceed 20%, he or she can rest at home and the gas in the body will slowly absorb on its own. If the compression is strong, you must be hospitalized.” Feng Xing said, “the elderly, the heart and lung function is already poor, the lung as long as a little compression, may cause serious impact, especially those who have a long-term history of smoking, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, asthma, silicosis and other occupational diseases, once the pneumothorax, regardless of how much lung compression, need to be hospitalized immediately.”
