This is how the mysterious test tube baby was born, step by step

Hello, my name is Aviv, and those who are familiar with me call me IVF (why this name? My Chinese name is Embryo Transfer Technology.) When the world’s first IVF baby was born in 1978, it was once thought that she was born in a test tube and glassware (tantalizingly, 1 in 10 women in China suffer from infertility, and my mama was one of them. Since none of the conventional means of fertility promotion worked, after a thorough talk with my doctor, they were ready to try IVF to call my arrival (thank you mama for not giving up, thank you doctors, thank you tech). Come on, silent fans! Let’s witness the whole process of successfully conceiving a national baby through the lens of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital Reproductive Medicine Center. After the blood collection, ultrasound, reproductive hormone test and infection index test for mama, and the semen routine test and infection index test for poop, everything passed smoothly. 2-3 days after her period arrived, the nurse gave her a small ovulation injection (recombinant follicle stimulating hormone? injection). After 5 days of continuous injections, I have started to sprout. In order for us to grow faster and taller, mama needs a little bit of gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonist to “help” in the next few days. After 10 days, it was time for the main event of life – egg retrieval! After mama used the medication trigger to trigger ovulation, we were ready for anything! It was a 36-hour marathon! After a mad dash, we arrived at the new world. Where was this? It was my “treasure box” (embryo 37 degree incubator) with my partner. Just as I was immersed in this magical place, suddenly a “tadpole” from the poop came down from the sky and hugged me with a swoosh. We were bonded together (in vitro fertilization)! We became close (developing embryo) and I decided to take him to my mom’s place for a while (implanting in the womb). Fourteen days later, Poopie had the most stressful day of their lives! A successful conception lab report, which resolved all the aggravation, pain and suffering they had suffered for over a decade! Nine months later, I came into the world. My first cry was the most beautiful note she had ever heard,” said my mother.
