Because there are no obvious and specific signs and symptoms of hemangioma in its early stages, the lack of simple and reliable diagnostic methods has led to many patients being misdiagnosed. By far the most common misdiagnosis of hemangioma is the diagnosis of mosquito bites, because some of the initial symptoms of strawberry hemangioma are similar to mosquito bites in the form of small red dots with pinpoint size. Hemangiomas are vascular abnormalities that form during embryonic life and can develop at birth or shortly after birth. Because of their painless and inconspicuous symptoms, many patients are misdiagnosed and delay the best time for treatment. There are some early symptoms of hemangioma that show the traces of hemangioma. The following symptoms are not necessarily hemangioma, but the following symptoms should be diagnosed early to find the cause of the disease: 1. abnormal change of color: red, dark red, blue, purple and purplish red appearing in a certain part of the body may be the manifestation of hemangioma. Some of the hemangiomas, such as bright red nevus, can be found as abnormal red color on the skin surface when they are born, while spongiform hemangioma and trapezius hemangioma may have no abnormal color on the skin surface, or they may show blue or purple color under the skin, and a large part of them are treated as “birthmark” and ignored by the people. A typical feature of hemangioma is that there is a lump on the surface of the skin or protruding under the skin, such as strawberry hemangioma with red color protruding from the surrounding normal skin, or cavernous hemangioma with a soft lump under the skin, and some of them may be mistaken for trauma. 3, is the local skin temperature: part of the local skin temperature of hemangioma is higher than the surrounding normal skin. 4, is the abnormal pulsation of blood vessels: arteriovenous malformation can be felt in the local obvious arterial pulsation. In addition, the combination of some auxiliary examinations such as spiral CT, MRI and endoscopic ultrasound can also detect the traces early.
