What are the perceptions of hypospadias surgery

The overall view of hypospadias surgery is complex, and the procedure must be individualized; preoperative assessment is possible, and only during surgery can the procedure be determined; correction of curvature builds the urethra, and normal appearance is the goal; hypospadias surgery is plastic surgery, taking into account both form and function; success rate in China and abroad, and the overall result is 70% to 80%; urinary fistula stenosis complications, and later treatment is easier. Interpretation: Hypospadias surgery is more complex and requires a highly individualized choice of procedure, and the surgical approach as well as one-stage or staged correction often needs to be determined during surgery. The chance of complications after hypospadias is higher than in most diseases, and even international authorities on hypospadias have an overall long-term success rate of only 70-80%, which patients and their families should fully understand and prepare their minds for. Hypospadias correction is a major success if it adequately resolves the penile curvature, reconstructs the longer segment of the urethral defect, and obtains a near-normal penile contour. Other complications such as urethral fistula are not complicated to deal with later on if the urine flow is smooth.
