Yin deficiency and liver fire can take medicine under doctor’s instruction to regulate, commonly used medicines are Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan, Dang Jian Yi San, gentian diarrhea liver pill and so on.
1. Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan, consists of Zhi Mu, Huang Bai, Shu Di Huang, Cornus officinalis (system), Mudan Pi, Chinese yam, Poria, Zedo. It has the effect of nourishing yin and reducing fire. It is used for hot flashes and night sweating (sweating abnormally after going to sleep, sweating stops after waking up), dry mouth and sore throat, tinnitus and spermatorrhea, and short and red urination (small amount of urination, dark yellow color) caused by yin deficiency and fire exuberance.

Dang jia jia free dispersal, has the effect of dredging the liver to dissolve the depression, strengthens the spleen and the camp (strengthens the spleen and the stomach, harmonizes the qi and blood), and also clears the effect of the heat of the depression. The main treatment of liver depression and fire (the liver qi is not clear to cause the fire and heat evil qi to produce) caused by hot flush zygomatic red (cheek zygomatic bone part of color red), menstrual disorders, less abdominal (abdomen) distension and pain, menstrual breast distension, leakage of menstruation (menstruation is too much or more than a little drop), bring down.
3. Gentian Diarrhea Liver Pill, composed of gentian, chaihu, scutellaria baicalensis, gardenia (fried), zedoary, mouton, psyllium (salt fried) and so on. It is used for dizziness and redness caused by damp-heat of liver and gallbladder, tinnitus and deafness, dystocia and bitterness of mouth (pain in the area of dystocia and ribs, and bitterness in the mouth), redness of urine, and wet-heat leucorrhea. It should not be taken for a long time by those with weak spleen and stomach, and should be used with caution by pregnant women and those with stomach cold.
