Yang deficiency and Yin deficiency are different in clinical manifestations and causes.
1. Clinical manifestations: patients with yang deficiency mostly show coldness and fear of cold, lack of thirst, cold limbs, long and clear urine, thin stools, and facial whitening, as well as symptoms of qi deficiency such as fatigue (lack of mental energy) and weakness, and lack of energy and laziness (lack of strength, not wanting to talk).
Yin deficiency patients to five heart heat (two hands and two feet heart fever, and consciously heart and chest heat), body emaciation, dry mouth and throat, two cheekbones flushed urine short red (small amount of urine, the color of dark yellow), constipation as the characteristics of the performance.
2. Causes: The cause of Yang deficiency is mostly due to a long period of illness and injury to Yang Qi, or a serious development of Qi deficiency, or living in a cold place, or a large number of bitter and cold products, which in turn depletes Yang Qi and so on.
Yin deficiency is mostly caused by heat illnesses that burn the yin fluid for a long time, or too much emotion, or excessive indoor labor, which depletes the yin essence.
