Early Symptoms of Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian cancer is one of the common malignant tumors of female reproductive organs. Different types of ovarian malignant tumors have different early symptoms. Among ovarian malignant tumors, ovarian epithelial cancer is the most common, followed by malignant germ cell tumors. Ovarian epithelial cancer has no obvious symptoms in the early stage, and when the tumor is found, it has already entered the advanced stage of the disease. Common symptoms include abdominal distention caused by abdominal mass, pelvic effusion, abdominal pain, loss of appetite and wasting. For ovarian malignant germ cell tumors, abdominal masses and abdominal distension can appear in the early stage of the disease. For early-stage ovarian cancer, the diagnosis can be confirmed at an early stage and relevant examinations can be actively improved. Meanwhile, in the early stage of the disease, there are some atypical symptoms that need to be paid attention to. For example, lumps in the waist and swollen abdominal lymph nodes; unexplained intermittent abdominal pain; low menstrual volume and cycle disorder; sudden weight loss, etc. should be alerted to the possibility of ovarian cancer. Therefore, when the above symptoms appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor in time, improve all relevant examinations, identify the cause, make a clear diagnosis and give timely symptomatic treatment. Therefore, women should have regular medical checkups every year, especially for gynecology. Early detection and early treatment for cancer are also necessary.
