Oral cancer metastasis symptoms

The metastatic symptoms of oral cancer are the same as those of other tumors in the head and neck, usually metastasizing to the lymph nodes first, and the lumps appear in the neck first. For example, if it occurs in the lips, it usually occurs under the chin and above the middle of the neck. If the tumor occurs in the tongue, the lump will first appear under the jaw, and if it is more advanced, the metastasis will be more frequent, and the metastasis can occur in the whole area of the neck, even in the upper side of the neck. Tongue cancer on one side can metastasize to the opposite side of the neck. Another kind of metastasis is distant metastasis, and the important one is lung metastasis. As with other malignant tumors, the most important site of metastasis to prevent is lung metastasis. Once distant metastasis occurs, treatment is more troublesome. It can only be treated by chemotherapy and other means. If it is only lymph node metastasis in the neck, it can be solved by some means such as surgery.
