Three positive antibodies to hepatitis B, referring to hepatitis B surface antibody, hepatitis B e antibody and hepatitis B core antibody, indicate a previous infection with hepatitis B, but currently a cured state. Just because you have previously been infected with hepatitis B does not mean that you will always be a hepatitis B patient afterwards. Some patients with acute hepatitis B can be cured, while some patients with acute infection will be cured without even showing symptoms, and the five hepatitis B items left behind will become positive for the three antibodies. One of them, hepatitis B e antibody and core antibody, will only appear after hepatitis B infection, and the presence of these two positive antibodies will remain and become an imprint of having been infected with hepatitis B. Hepatitis B surface antibodies are a sign of immunity to hepatitis B. Most people who gain immunity to hepatitis B do so because of the hepatitis B vaccine, while some people can also gain immunity to hepatitis B after being infected once.
