What to eat when you have hyperuricemia

Dietary treatment: Usually, food is divided into three categories according to the amount of purine content per 100g of food: purine content is low purine food, suitable for patients with hyperuricemia; purine content between 50-150mg is medium purine content food, which is prohibited during the acute attack of gout and can be eaten in moderation during the remission period; purine content >150mg is high purine food It is prohibited for patients with hyperuricemia. In general, patients with hyperuricemia and gout, foods that should be avoided, such as offal and other high purine foods (liver, kidney), high fructose grain syrup drinks (such as soft drinks, fruit juices) or food, alcohol abuse (strictly prohibited for those in the attack or progressive phase). In patients with hyperuricemia and gout, foods that should be restricted, such as beef, lamb, pork, purine-rich seafood, natural fruit juices, sugar, desserts, salt (including soy sauce and sauces), alcohol (especially beer, but also white wine); we should encourage the consumption of low-fat or fat-free foods, vegetables.
