In recent years, with the continuous improvement of people’s living standards, minimally invasive thoracic surgery has become possible with the birth of thoracoscopy and corresponding supporting surgical instruments, such as endoscopic sutured incisors, ultrasonic knives, and continuous-issue titanium clamps. With the continuous development of medical level, thoracoscopic surgery has been gradually favored by most patients with chest diseases for its many advantages such as less trauma, less pain, faster recovery and aesthetics. Thoracoscopic surgery is less traumatic, less damaging to human immunity, less damaging to human postoperative anti-tumor ability, and relatively speaking, tumors are less likely to recur and metastasize after surgery. In recent years, the thoracic surgery department of our hospital has made rapid development in minimally invasive thoracoscopic treatment. In the first half of this year, our thoracic surgery department completed more than 50 cases of pure thoracoscopic surgery, including 4 cases of “pure thoracoscopic radical lung cancer treatment”, which greatly reduced the pain of patients and achieved the same effect as conventional open surgery. The four cases of thoracoscopic radical lung cancer surgery completed in the first half of this year have reached the leading level in the province, including one case of “central small cell lung cancer” in which the pure thoracoscopic radical resection has reached the advanced level in China. In the “National Symposium on Thoracoscopic Lung Cancer Resection and Single Thoracoscopic Lung Cancer Resection” held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province in July this year, our thoracic surgery department was invited to speak at the conference and exchange experience and experience of thoracoscopic lung cancer resection with famous experts at home and abroad, which was well received by experts at home and abroad. The treatment of lung malignant tumor is a multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment combining surgery with internal medicine. Conventional open lung cancer resection is highly traumatic and slow in postoperative recovery, thus delaying the time of postoperative chemotherapy and other treatments, which theoretically gives the tumor a chance to breathe and is not conducive to the treatment of tumor. Thoracoscopic lung cancer resection is an emerging technology that has just emerged and gradually matured in recent years. Its emergence greatly reduces patients’ pain and shortens the postoperative recovery time, so that patients can undergo chemotherapy and other comprehensive treatments earlier after surgery, which is conducive to the comprehensive treatment of tumors.
