What should I look for in facial palsy?

The treatment of stubborn facial palsy is a very difficult disease, therefore, the treatment of stubborn facial palsy should pay special attention to the diet of facial palsy patients should also pay special attention to the diet of facial palsy patients, if the diet is not appropriate, it may even lead to the occurrence of permanent facial palsy, then the diet of stubborn facial palsy should pay attention to what? According to my clinical observation for many years, facial palsy patients should pay close attention to the following points: 1, light diet is the main focus, avoid eating spicy food, in the south to avoid eating litchi, mango, durian, pineapple honey and other hot poisonous fruits. Avoid eating goose, roast suckling pig, roast goose, roast duck, etc. 2, living to avoid wind and cold, facial paralysis mostly occurs in the spring and summer season when the wind is evil, at this time, we should pay attention to avoid the wind, wear a mask when going out, air conditioning and fans do not directly against the face. Wash your face with warm water at a moderate temperature. Avoid getting wet. Ensure sufficient sleep and do not be overly anxious, 95% of patients can recover. Typical case: Male 22 years old, on the first day of illness, he felt numbness on the left side of his face with pain behind the ear, without herpes in the ear, the patient did not care about it and thought it was ordinary “heat”, but on the same day he accidentally got wet, and the next day he developed left-sided facial paralysis. I treated him with acupuncture and buried thread, and after 1 month, his left-sided facial palsy recovered by about 40%. At the Dragon Boat Festival, when the lychee was ripe, the patient ate one lychee and had a nosebleed the next day, after which the left cheek puffing became significantly worse than before. It took another 2 months of acupuncture treatment to basically recover. However, the speed of recovery was significantly slower than before eating lychee. Tip: Avoid getting wet and watch your diet.
