What are Mifepristone Tablets

Mifepristone tablets are an anti-progestational hormone that has anti-luteal, ovulation-inhibiting, anti-embryonic implantation and menstruation-inducing effects. The main reactions after administration are gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea and vomiting, as well as dizziness, fatigue, breast tenderness, and small abdominal pain. These reactions are relatively mild and, if taken for a short period of time for a medical abortion, have little effect on normal human health. If mifepristone is taken to treat gynecological diseases such as uterine fibroids or adenomyosis, it needs to be taken for a long time and may easily cause liver function damage. Because mifepristone is mainly metabolized by cytochrome enzymes in the liver, taking too much or for too long may cause damage to the heart, liver, kidneys and other important organs, and prolonged use of mifepristone tablets may also cause menstrual disorders.
