Adapalene gel is a retinoid with retinoic acid activity and anti-inflammatory properties. It has a stable chemical structure and is not easily decomposed under air and light. It has an anti-inflammatory effect.
Adapalene Gel works by regulating the differentiation of epithelial cells of hair follicles and sebaceous glands, reducing the formation of acne and thus treating acne.
Adapalene Gel is suitable for the skin treatment of acne vulgaris with acne, papules and pustules as the main manifestation. It can also be used to treat acne on the face, chest and back. It can also relieve the inflammatory reaction of acne (e.g. pustules and papules). Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area once daily, after cleaning and drying the affected area before bedtime. For patients who must reduce the number of doses or suspend dosing, the number of doses may be resumed when it is confirmed that the patient has regained tolerance to adapalene. The safety and efficacy of this product has not been established in clinical trials in subjects aged 12 – 30 years, therefore, in pediatric patients under 12 years of age and in older adults over 65 years of age. This product is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of this product. Do not use this product in conjunction with other similarly acting vitamin A acids or other drugs and cosmetics that can cause acne and have shrinking properties.
