Can dry eyes have red blood?

It is possible to have red blood in dry eye, but it occurs in moderate or severe cases of congestion. In the early stage of dry eye, which is mild dry eye, the main focus is still eye dryness, which may be caused by the instability of the tear film and lead to dryness of the eye surface, which can be relieved by eye drops supplemented with artificial tears, such as sodium vitrate drops. However, if the symptoms are heavy or the medication is not right, it is likely to progress to moderate or severe, which will not only have eye congestion, but may have corneal level damage and cause punctate keratitis, which not only requires the use of artificial tear eye drops, but may also require the use of nutritive corneal eye ointment, such as calf blood deprotein extract eye gel to promote corneal epithelial healing, in order to make the congestion gradually subside.
