Age spots, also known as seborrheic keratosis, are mostly seen in the elderly. The spots are round or irregular in shape, with clear borders and rough brown surface, and with the development of lesions, the rash gradually increases and thickens, the color deepens, and the surface is often covered with greasy scales. Most of them have no conscious symptoms, and occasionally have an itchy feeling. What causes age spots? The reason for the formation of age spots is that during the metabolic process of human body, a substance called “free radical” will be produced, which means that the lipofuscin pigment will be deposited in the cells. The aging tissues and cells are unable to eliminate these brownish-black particles, and they accumulate in large quantities in the skin, resulting in age spots. It is generally believed that age spots are a precursor of tissue aging, indicating that the cells have entered the aging stage. How to treat age spots? Complex colored light can penetrate the skin without damage and is preferentially and selectively absorbed by the pigment masses in the tissues, so that the pigment masses and pigment cells are destroyed and decomposed without destroying the normal tissue cells, thus achieving the effect of removing the age spots. Generally, you need to receive 3~6 times of treatment, once every month to one and a half months, and you can usually see obvious results in 1-3 times. The treatment will not accidentally damage normal tissues and thus will not leave scars.
