HPV bivalent quadrivalent ninevalent age group

There are three main types of HPV vaccines in China, namely bivalent, quadrivalent and nine-valent vaccines, which differ in terms of the suitable age for vaccination and the scope of prevention. The age stages for HPV bivalent, quadrivalent and nine-valent are 9-25 years old, 20-45 years old and 16-26 years old respectively. The bivalent HPV vaccine is mainly for women aged 9-25 years old and has a good preventive effect on two types of high-risk HPV 16 and 18; the quadrivalent vaccine is for women aged 20-45 years old and is used to prevent four types of HPV 6, 11, 16 and 18; while the nine-valent vaccine can prevent HPV 52, 33, 31, 48 and 58 types on top of the quadrivalent vaccine. It is suitable for women aged 16 to 26 years old. The HPV vaccine is the main means of preventing cervical cancer and can effectively reduce the chances of women developing cervical cancer. The HPV vaccine can only prevent most cervical cancers, but it is not 100% effective, so it is necessary to pay attention to personal hygiene and intercourse hygiene, avoid unclean sex, and for women who have the conditions, they can insist on having a gynecological examination once every six months or a year to detect the situation in time for targeted treatment.
