What should I do if my nose hurts from being hit?

If the patient’s nose is hit very painful, you can use an ice pack to apply a cold compress on the nose, which can effectively reduce the swelling and pain. It is recommended to improve the 3D CT of the nasal bone at the hospital to clarify whether the nose is accompanied by a fracture. If there is obvious collapse of the nasal bone or nasal skew, it is recommended to consider nasal bone repositioning surgery after active anti-inflammation. The swelling can be improved after a week or so of anti-inflammatory medication. Cefuroxime injection or cefmetazole injection is commonly used clinically, and a skin test is required before using the medication. If the patient is older and does not have high requirements for appearance, and the nasal ventilation is not affected after the injury, it can be left alone, but if the patient is younger and the nose is obviously crooked it is often recommended to correct it.
