Is self-sweating a deficiency of yang or yin

Self-sweating (involuntary sweating during the day, aggravated by the slightest movement of sweat) is usually Yang deficiency. Self-sweating is the symptom of sweating when waking up, aggravated by activity, often accompanied by symptoms such as low qi and lazy speech (lack of strength, not wanting to talk), cold and cold limbs, and fatigue (mental exhaustion, physical weakness). Self-sweating is usually seen in Yang deficiency or Qi deficiency, due to the deficiency of Yang Qi, which cannot fix the muscle surface, resulting in the loss of the Xuan Fu’s seal and the leakage of fluid, thus the symptoms of self-sweating occur, and the movement consumes Qi, so the symptoms will be aggravated after activities. Patients with spontaneous sweating can take tonics internally or through acupuncture in order to fix the surface to stop sweating (stop sweating by consolidating the muscle surface). Yin deficiency, on the other hand, is usually characterized by night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep and stopping after waking up), i.e., sweating after falling asleep and stopping sweating after waking up, which is often accompanied by hot flashes, five heart-heat (heat in the heart of the hands and feet, and self-consciousness of the heart and chest being irritated and hot), and red tongue with little moss. If the symptoms of spontaneous sweating occur, it is recommended that the patient actively go to the hospital for consultation and treatment by a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner after diagnosis, and do not use medication arbitrarily.
