Drug poisoning hands and feet turned black, may be due to arsenic poisoning. It may also be the long-term use of chemotherapy drugs and the toxic reaction of chemotherapy drugs.
1. Arsenic poisoning: If you accidentally take insecticides containing arsenic, or overdose of drugs containing arsenic, such as p-aminobenzoic acid, etc., it may lead to arsenic poisoning in patients. As a result, the patient may have abnormal symptoms such as blackening of hands and feet, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, and rice-slop-like feces.
2. Toxic reaction of chemotherapeutic drugs: if long-term oral capecitabine, tiglio capsules and other chemotherapeutic drugs, may trigger chemotherapeutic drug-related skin pigmentation. Because chemotherapy drugs are cytotoxic drugs, so the use of normal cells in the patient’s body will also cause damage, and activate the patient’s body pigment cells, resulting in the hands and feet parts of the dark color, black.
If the patient’s hands and feet become dark due to drug poisoning, it is recommended to stop using the drug and go to the hospital for treatment to avoid delaying the condition.
