Treatment and prevention of diseases related to medial calf sensory loss

Loss of sensation in the medial calf is one of the symptoms of a high level femoral nerve injury. High femoral nerve injury manifests as loss of sensation in the anterior medial femur and medial calf. The different types of sensation can be divided into pain, touch, temperature, and deep sensory deficits. The absence of all senses in the same area is called complete sensory loss. If some senses are missing in the same area and some other senses are normal, it is called dissociative sensory disorder. The general sensation is normal, and without visual participation, the site of stimulation, shape and weight of objects cannot be discerned. What is the treatment and prevention of diseases related to medial calf sensory loss? 1, treatment Femoral nerve open injury is often combined with iliac and femoral vascular injury, attention should be paid to emergency treatment, while repairing the vasculature to do a phase I repair or phase II repair of the nerve according to the injury. When the femoral nerve is revealed, the patient is placed in a supine position with the affected hip slightly padded. The surgical steps are as follows. (1) The incision is made from 4 cm above the anterior superior iliac spine inward and downward, parallel to the inguinal ligament, to the midpoint of the inguinal ligament, turning down and straight down. (2) Reveal the nerve by cutting the skin of the abdomen and the tendon membrane of the external oblique muscle, cutting the internal oblique muscle and the transverse abdominal muscle, pushing the peritoneum and the abdominal cavity contents toward the midline, cutting the iliac fascia to reveal the femoral nerve, which can be traced downward to the inguinal ligament, and if necessary, cutting the ligament and continuing to separate distally to reveal the femoral nerve branches. 2, prevention For complete transection injury or minor partial injury, the postoperative recovery function is completely different. In order for us to encounter the femoral nerve injury in the future when the disease can be correctly treated, to achieve early recovery, we must now do a more comprehensive understanding of this disease and understanding, in order to effectively prevent and treat the disease. In addition, the patient’s daily diet should be based on a light and easy-to-digest diet, with more fresh vegetables, fruits and appropriate amounts of meat.
