How long does it usually take for tolterodine tartrate tablets to work?

Tolterodine tartrate tablets are commonly used in urology and are usually effective after 2-3 days of administration. The drug is an M-blocker and is mainly used to treat overactive bladder disorder and to improve patients’ urinary urgency, frequency or urge incontinence. Patients can usually take the drug for 2-3 days to relieve their symptoms, but patients with overactive bladder usually need continuous treatment for at least 4-6 weeks. In addition, patients must adhere to the treatment period and not reduce or stop the medication privately because of symptom reduction or disappearance. Patients are advised to visit the urology department of a regular hospital regularly, consult a professional doctor, and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment. Because the drug is an M-blocker, patients may experience side effects such as dry mouth, indigestion, constipation, and tear reduction during the medication period, which usually disappear after stopping the drug and need not be overly concerned.
