Can a lumbar fracture be cured?

Whether the lumbar spine fracture can be cured needs to be judged according to the fracture, such as simple lumbar spine fracture usually can be cured, but the fracture accumulates to the spinal nerves usually can’t be cured, as follows:
1. Simple lumbar vertebral fracture: if the fracture is stabilized and there is no nerve injury after clinical assessment, general treatment and medication can be carried out under the guidance of doctors, such as hard bed for 10~12 weeks, oral anti-inflammatory and analgesic medication, etc., and osteoporosis can be treated with anti-osteoporosis therapy, and most of the patients can be restored to normal.
2. Combined nerve injury: after the nerve is injured, the injured trunk and lower limbs will have sensory loss, numbness, paralysis below the plane of injury in severe cases, and timely surgery is needed to relieve the spinal cord or nerve compression to avoid further injury, but due to the poor regeneration ability of spinal cord nerves, some symptoms are difficult to be healed.
Therefore, if there is a lumbar spine fracture, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time, early formal treatment, most patients can achieve the effect of cure.
