Is Mycoplasma Urealyticum Infection Transmitted Through Spit

Mycoplasma deiuriae infection is not transmitted through saliva. Mycoplasma urealyticum is mainly found in women’s vagina, around the urethra, the external cervix and in urine, and it is mainly transmitted through sexual transmission and contact, mother-to-child transmission. 1. Sexual transmission: Sex with patients and healthy carriers will cause cross-infection. 2. Transmission by contact: using bath towels, towels, bed sheets contaminated by the patient, and irregular vaginal operation may also cause transmission. 3. Mother-to-child transmission: After infection, pregnant women can transmit the infection vertically to the fetus through the placenta, or cause intrauterine infection through the upward spread of the reproductive tract, and infect the fetus through the contaminated birth canal during delivery. Asymptomatic mycoplasma infections do not require treatment, but if symptoms occur, they should be treated as prescribed by a doctor.
