Hemangiomas are congenital malformations of vascular development and are misshapen in nature. Common skin and subcutaneous hemangiomas, the vast majority of them are benign, non-life-threatening, but can have a certain impact on the function, especially on the appearance. Clinical manifestations: 1, capillary hemangioma, strawberry hemangioma, with high incidence, accounting for 1/100 of newborns, usually found after birth, or only small red spots in the first few weeks of life, and then gradually increase in size, higher than the skin, bright red or crimson, resembling strawberry. Most often found on the face, head skin, neck, trunk and vulva can also be seen. Occasionally, ulcers or even bleeding may occur. Strawberry hemangioma usually fades away gradually between the age of 1~4 years, and can continue to shrink slowly after 4 years. 2. Cavernous hemangioma, mostly grows in the subcutaneous tissue, sometimes invades into the muscle, mostly seen in the trunk, limbs and parotid gland and other parts. The tumor body is large, some of them have the tendency to grow, and the skin color of the surface of the tumor body is normal or dark blue. The surface of the tumor is normal in color or dark blue. It is a soft lump to touch. Cavernous hemangioma also has the possibility of slow self-decline. 3.Mixed hemangioma mainly grows in the face and neck, but also can be seen in other parts of the body. Generally, it grows rapidly in the first 6 months after birth, and can reach a large range, with great invasiveness, and normal tissues can be seriously damaged. The tumors are irregular, bluish-red, and prone to ulceration, bleeding, infection, necrosis, and scarring. Giant hemangioma often retains and consumes a large number of platelets, coagulation factors and fibrinogen, resulting in diffuse intravascular coagulation (DIC), i.e. Kasabach-Merrit syndrome. 4, trapezoidal hemangioma, mostly occurs in frontotemporal region under the scalp and limb ends, can be seen as an elevated swelling, skin flushing, subcutaneous vaguely visible tortuous pulsation and peristalsis, auscultation can be heard murmur, touching with pulsation and can feel the stripes of dilated blood vessels, the local temperature is increased. Trapezoidal hemangioma usually does not subside by itself. 5.Erythematous nevus, wine spot, present at birth, flat and not higher than the epidermis, mostly on the face, but also on the trunk and limbs, the color can be faded for a short period of time under pressure, and then recovered immediately. These hemangiomas do not develop after birth and exist for life. Most of them are asymptomatic and may affect the aesthetics. Treatment:Strawberry hemangioma can wait for self healing and leave no trace after regression. Cavernous hemangioma takes longer time to subside, and surgical treatment is suitable for cavernous hemangioma and trapezoidal hemangioma affecting the function of limbs. Sclerosing agent injection, anhydrous alcohol, pingyangmycin and so on. After injection into the hemangioma, the cells in the tumor body are dehydrated and metabolic disorders, destroying the vascular endothelial cells, aseptic necrosis occurs, and the fibrous connective tissue proliferates until atrophy. Laser treatment, for superficial hemangioma effect is better. Abdominal wall hemangioma, small size, can be observed, if the growth rate is too fast, can be early intervention Thigh hemangioma found 2 days after birth, large size Eyelid hemangioma, after laser treatment twice, the effect is not good, need to consider sclerosing agent injection therapy
