  With the change of people’s diet structure and the influence of psychological and social factors, the incidence of constipation has a tendency to increase. Constipation is mainly manifested as a decrease in the number of bowel movements, a decrease in the volume of stool, dry stool and straining to defecate. Failure to defecate on time can lead to the accumulation of toxins in the body, which can lead to other diseases due to dysfunction of the body.  So how do we prevent constipation? I give you a few suggestions: 1, to develop good bowel habits Everyone has a variety of habits, stool is no exception, to a certain time to defecate, if often delayed defecation time, can make the defecation reflex weak, causing constipation, so do not artificially control the sense of defecation. For those who are often constipated must be arranged in a reasonable time, to develop good bowel habits.  2, active physical exercise walking, running, deep breathing, playing tai chi, turn waist lift legs and physical labor, etc., can make the gastrointestinal activities to strengthen the diaphragm, abdominal muscles, anal muscles to exercise, improve the power of defecation, prevent constipation.  Abdominal massage can also prevent constipation, starting from the right lower abdomen up, to the left, and then down clockwise opposite massage, 2 to 3 times a day, 10 to 20 turns each time.  3, timely treatment of relevant diseases The treatment of relevant diseases has a certain role in the prevention of constipation. Such as allergic colitis, colonic diverticulitis, colon tumors, colon stenosis, hypothyroidism, diabetes, uterine fibroids, lead, mercury and other metal poisoning.  4.Introduce several simple dietary treatment prescriptions: Fresh potato juice: 300 grams of fresh potatoes peeled and chopped, wrapped in clean gauze and squeezed juice, take 1~2 tablespoons before meals, 2~3 times a day. (Note: Sprouted potatoes and green tuber flesh, containing lobeline, can cause poisoning and produce severe symptoms of gastroenteritis.)  Five kernel japonica rice porridge: crush 10 grams each of five kernels, such as sesame, pine nut, cypress kernel, pecan kernel and sweet almond, with 100 grams of japonica rice, add water and cook the porridge. Add a little sugar and take it every morning and evening. Suitable for middle-aged and elderly people with habitual constipation caused by deficiency of Qi and blood.  White potato porridge: 300 grams of white potato, 100 grams of millet porridge, add sugar after cooking, and take it every morning and evening. Suitable for the elderly and postpartum women with dry constipation with fatigue and weakness.  Spinach and pig’s blood soup: take 200 grams of spinach, 150 grams of pig’s blood, a little salt. Boil spinach and pig’s blood together, and take it with salt after cooking. Suitable for all constipation.  Pig heart and cypress soup: Take 1 pig heart and 15 grams of cypress kernel. Put cypress kernel into pig heart, stewed with water, eat once in 3 days. It can prevent constipation.  Astragalus honey tea: take 15 grams of astragalus and 30 grams of honey. Astragalus into the casserole, add water 500 ml, decoction until the water left 300 ml, remove the dregs to take the juice, add honey, and boil well, drink as tea. Suitable for elderly or postpartum constipation.  Cane juice porridge: extract 100 ml of sugar cane juice and set aside. Add 400 ml of water to 50 g of japonica rice, cook until the rice blooms, then add sugar cane juice and cook the porridge. Take it daily in the morning and evening with warmth. Note that constipation is not suitable for people with diabetes.  Patients with frequent constipation usually eat more coarse grains, vegetables, and more fruits such as bananas, oranges and sweet oranges as appropriate.
