How long does it take to get the results of hpv test

  The HPV test result time varies from 2-3 days in some hospitals to about 1 week in some hospitals, consult your hospital for details.  The HPV test is a special small brush to take the cervical epithelial cells to check if you have human papillomavirus infection. HPV infection is divided into high risk and low risk types, low risk types are related to various warts, such as condyloma acuminata, flat warts, high risk papillomavirus infection and cervical epithelial lesions. If the test is positive for HPV, a cervical TCT should also be performed to rule out the presence of cervical epithelial lesions.  It is recommended that women should undergo annual cervical cancer screening, including HPV and TCT, without any discomfort, to determine whether there are cervical epithelial lesions and prevent the occurrence of cervical cancer.
