Is Excessive Fire a Kidney-Yang or Kidney-Yin Deficiency?

Excessive fire is a deficiency of kidney yin.
Kidney yang is the external manifestation of kidney essence and qi, and Chinese medicine often compares yang to fire, which has the effect of warming the whole body. When a patient has kidney yang deficiency, he or she will have external cold manifestations, such as edema, pale face, cold waist and knees, fear of cold, cold hands and feet, and fatigue.
Kidney yin deficiency is a deficiency of kidney yin. Chinese medicine often compares yin to water. When a patient has kidney yin deficiency, i.e., less “water” and more “fire”, there will be “false fire”. The patient will show signs of internal heat, such as lumbar pain, five heart-heat (irritability and sultriness) (heat in the hearts of the hands and feet, and self-consciousness of the heart and chest), night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, but sweating stops after waking up), and excessive dreaming, and so on.
It can be seen that Excessive Empty Fire is Kidney Yin Deficiency. If the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for early and regular treatment.
