The first step is to actively control the patient’s blood glucose levels, correct poor lifestyle, stop smoking and limit alcohol, control weight and eat sensibly. On top of this, active exercise rehabilitation is required to improve the function of the lower limbs and improve the quality of life. Regular doses of aspirin, statins and ACEI drugs are also needed, as well as vasodilators such as cilostazol, hexaconitine, nafuram, butalbital, prostaglandin and beraprost sodium to improve lower limb motor function.
