The nine-valent cervical cancer vaccine is effective against nine HPV subtypes, namely 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52 and 58. The price of the nine-valent cervical cancer vaccine is now about 4,000 yuan in China. The vaccine needs to be injected three times in total, usually at 0, 2 and 6 months, and the three injections must be completed within one year, with at least one month between the first and second injections, and at least three months between the second and third injections. The best age to receive the nine-valent cervical cancer vaccine is 16-26 years old. Although the nine-valent cervical cancer can well prevent the occurrence of cervical cancer, it cannot prevent all cervical cancers, and cervical cancer vaccination is not a substitute for cervical cancer screening.
