What does it mean to test positive for neocoronary antigen?

A positive Neocoronavirus antigen test indicates a possible infection with Neocoronavirus, but does not exclude the possibility of a false positive. The New Crown antigen test is based on the principle of antigen-antibody, which utilizes the principle of antigen-antibody specific reaction to detect whether the body contains a certain protein in the protein shell of the New Crown virus. However, the antigen test is not completely accurate and cannot be used to make a definitive diagnosis; it can only be used as a preliminary screening judgment, and false-positive results are possible. If the neocoronavirus antigen results are positive, the patient will need to be closely monitored and serial nucleic acid tests will be performed to determine if he or she is infected. If the patient has a positive New Crown Antigen result, he/she should immediately go to a formal medical institution for a definitive diagnosis and treatment as prescribed by the doctor. In addition, isolation measures should be taken to avoid adverse consequences.
