How to confirm the diagnosis of novel coronary pneumonia

Novel coronavirus pneumonia is an infectious disease caused by novel coronavirus infection, which can cause symptoms of pneumonia and respiratory tract infection. Clinical diagnosis can be made by detecting specific antibodies in the serum using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and immunofluorescence test. Since this epidemic of novel coronavirus pneumonia is caused by a novel coronavirus infection that has not been previously identified in humans, the diagnosis can be confirmed by detecting novel coronavirus nucleic acid in specimens such as nasopharyngeal swabs, sputum, lower respiratory secretions, blood, and stool. In addition, the diagnosis can be confirmed by sequencing the viral genes, which are highly homologous to the novel coronavirus.
