Fetal ventricular septal defect with normal noninvasive DNA should also be performed amniocentesis to rule out chromosomal abnormalities and fetal cardiac ultrasound in the hospital to rule out other cardiac malformations. Ventricular septal defect, caused by embryonic ventricular septal insufficiency, is the most common congenital heart disease, accounting for about 50% of congenital heart disease in China, about 40% combined with other congenital cardiovascular malformations. Once detected, timely obstetrics consultation is recommended, and amniocentesis is recommended for prenatal diagnosis to rule out chromosomal abnormalities and fetal cardiac ultrasound to rule out the presence of other cardiac anomalies. Once abnormalities are detected during pregnancy, obstetrics and pediatric surgery clinics should be consulted for follow-up treatment.
