Nephropathy is usually treated with hormones and immunosuppressants and has a higher chance of being cured. Nephropathy usually refers to nephrotic syndrome, which is different from ordinary infectious diseases, it is an immune-related disease, mainly because the immune disorder in the body produces a lot of antibodies, and this antibody attacks the kidneys to form this disease. From the above pathogenesis, we can see that the treatment of this disease requires the application of drugs to stop the production of such antibodies and also to stop the antibodies from attacking the kidneys. The main drugs that are clinically effective in this regard are hormones and immunosuppressants, such as prednisone and cyclophosphamide and tacrolimus. The possibility of curing nephrotic syndrome with these two types of drugs is very high, but there are exceptions, because nephrotic syndrome includes many types of pathologies, and in layman’s terms this big disease includes many small diseases, and each small disease responds differently to the treatment of the above two drugs. Some respond better to the above treatment, such as the microscopic lesion type, and have a very good chance of being cured. Some are less responsive to the above treatment, such as membranous nephropathy, which is less likely to be cured.
