Lead poisoning is dangerous

  It is an indisputable fact that many children have excessive lead in their bodies, and the absorption rate of lead in children is about 5 times that of adults, and the ability to excrete lead is only 30% of that of adults, so – lead poisoning, a great danger! Unlike other metal elements, lead has no role in human body, and lead will be harmful to health if its content in body exceeds a certain level. Excessive blood lead has the most serious impact on the intellectual and physical development of children aged 0-6.  1. Damage to organs Lead can affect various organs such as nerve, hematopoietic, digestive, urinary, reproduction and development, cardiovascular, endocrine, immune and bone, mainly the nervous system and hematopoietic system. Among them, lead poisoning is the most serious damage to the nervous system, which can lead to children’s irritability, impulsiveness, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, inattention, personality change, slow reaction, intellectual decline, memory loss, etc.; in serious cases, lead poisoning encephalopathy and even death can occur.  2.Cause ADHD Frequent consumption of food with excessive lead content will cause the accumulation of lead in human body, which will have certain effects on children’s cognitive and behavioral functions and may cause children to suffer from ADHD.  High blood lead can affect the growth and intellectual development of infants and children, and damage cognitive functions, neurobehavior, learning and memory, and other brain functions, causing dementia in serious cases. The intellectual damage caused by lead is irreversible. Even after treatment, the intellectual impairment will not recover significantly.
