Characteristics of back pain after liver cancer

Patients with hepatocellular carcinoma may present with back pain, especially pain in the back of the right shoulder, which is sore in nature and considered to be involving pain caused by liver irritation of the peritoneum. If the liver tumor involves the diaphragm or the reactive right pleural effusion occurs, secondary to respiratory restriction, the patient may also exhibit right chest tightness and pain radiating to the back of the shoulder, which may also be accompanied by respiratory restriction. Secondary to infection, the patient may also have fever. The treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma is a comprehensive treatment mainly based on surgery, and the common symptoms are pain in the liver area and swelling and pain in the right quadrant of the rib cage. In case of obvious distant metastasis, systemic intravenous chemotherapy or hepatic artery infusion chemotherapy can be chosen to control the development of tumor, and painful symptoms can be treated with pain-relieving drugs, such as aminoglutethimide tablets and morphine hydrochloride tablets.
