However, overall systemic chemotherapy is not very effective for hepatocellular carcinoma, therefore, systemic chemotherapy should be considered only in cases of extrahepatic metastasis or cancer embolism in the main portal vein, good liver function index and local liver lesions that cannot be operated, as well as local ablation and hepatic artery cannulation embolization chemotherapy.
