What are some ways to prevent hypoglycemia?

  Many diabetic patients have good control of their blood glucose after doctors’ guidance, reasonable diet, regular exercise, medication as instructed and regular review. However, sudden changes in lifestyle patterns, such as colds, fever, diarrhea and loss of appetite, often leave them at their wits’ end and at a loss. The author suggests: in case of the above, go to the hospital to treat the disease, and reduce or suspend insulin and oral hypoglycemic drugs when you have a poor appetite or cannot eat, in order to avoid hypoglycemia, leading to panic, sweating, mental abnormalities or even coma.
